Inmate Released Too Early From Jail Captured

DENVER (CBS4)- An inmate who was mistakenly released from the Denver County Jail on Thursday afternoon has been captured.

Timothy Ross was released from the jail on Smith Road at 10 a.m. Thursday. Authorities captured him just after 1 p.m. on Federal Boulevard.

Ross was in custody on attempted escape and menacing. The jail is trying to figure out why the release happened.
