Huge Reward Offered For Tips About Massive Glendale Fire

GLENDALE, Colo. (CBS4) – A large reward has been offered in hopes of finding who's responsible for a massive fire in Glendale on Cherry Street in December.

The fire happened at night and could be seen from Evergreen to Castle Rock.

Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives officials say considering the amount of damage the fire caused a $10,000 reward is appropriate.

Investigators believe a large reward will prompt people to come forward with new information about the cause of the massive fire.

Sources earlier this week told CBS4 that two gas canisters were found in a parking structure north of the scene. A third gas can, gloves and a backpack were also found, but investigators have officially ruled the cause as "undetermined."

The damage it caused is estimated at more than $12 million.

Anyone with information is urged to come forward. Remain anonymous by calling Glendale Crime Stoppers at (303) 639-4328.
