Hikers Rescued From Longs Peak

BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)- Three hikers have been rescued after spending the night on Longs Peak.

The three men, Alan Smith, Elijah Holmes and Austin Holmes, headed out on the Kiener's Route on Monday. They became stranded and spent the night on the mountain.

Family members called authorities for help despite the fact that the men said they did not want help. Search crews decided to rescue them anyway.
