Grand Jury To Review Grand County Sheriff-Involved Shooting

GRAND COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - The district attorney handling the investigation following Grand County Sheriff Brett Schroetlin's shooting of a man deputies say was armed with a knife will go to a grand jury.

CBS4 confirmed the 14th Judicial District will let the grand jury hear the case next month.

The sheriff remains on paid administrative leave although he continues to attend community events he had on his schedule, including MCing an event this weekend in Grand Lake.

The investigation remains active and ongoing at this time.
