Firefighters May Let Silver Creek Fire Burn Itself Out

KREMMLING, Colo. (CBS4)- Firefighters continued to monitor the Silver Creek Fire burning northwest of Kremmling. Crews are mostly content to monitor the fire and let it burn itself out.

The fire has burned 125 acres and started more than three weeks ago in Routt County. The fire is burning in mostly beetle kill trees in the forest.

What started the fire is being investigated.
