Fire Destroys Head Start In Center

CENTER, Colo. (CBS4)- The Head Start in Center was destroyed by fire early Saturday morning. What caused the fire is being investigated.
Center is located north of Alamosa.
Firefighters rushed to the building where the Head Start was located. By the time they arrived heavy smoke was coming from the roof and a portion of the roof had collapsed.
Crews stopped the fire from spreading to the adjoining Center Tire Store but the business did suffer smoke and water damage.
Investigator said it's too early to determine what caused the fire but there was a re-roofing project underway at the time.
