44,000 Street Lights In Denver Being Changed Over To LEDs

DENVER (CBS4) - Street lights in Denver will look different moving forward. Denver Public Works started conversion of 44,000 street lights to LEDs on Tuesday.
The goal is to help increase safety and efficiency and eliminating traffic deaths and serious injuries.
The new bulbs are brighter and save energy. The project will take about a year.
