Denver Police Search For Shoplifting Suspect Who Claimed To Have A Gun

DENVER (CBS4)- Police in Denver are searching for a shoplifting suspect who claimed he had a gun.

Police say on Nov. 17 about 5:30 p.m., a man took items from the King Soopers store located at 1155 E. 9th Ave.

When he was confronted by loss prevention personnel after leaving the store, the suspect stated he had a gun and ran away.

The suspect is described as a black male, 50 to 64 years old, 6-foot and 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a red sweatshirt under a blue ski jacket.

No one was injured in the incident.
