Denver Deputy Sheriff Christian DeAnda arrested, accused of stalking, menacing

The Firestone Police Department has arrested Denver Deputy Sheriff Christian DeAnda. He is accused of stalking- causing emotional distress, harassment, criminal mischief, and felony menacing (domestic violence).

The Denver Sheriff Department has placed DeAnda on investigatory leave. The Office of the Independent Monitor and the Public Integrity Division have been notified, according to DSD. 

The sheriff department said DeAnda became a deputy sheriff in 2023 and was assigned to the Downtown Detention Center.
