ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (The Sports Xchange) - Denver Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas underwent an MRI on the hip he injured in Thursday night's opener and the results will be sent for a second opinion, according to a report by ESPN.
There is concern within the Broncos organization that Thomas could miss some time. The Broncos next play against the Indianapolis Colts on Sept. 18, then have road games at Cincinnati and Tampa Bay.
Thomas caught four passes for 48 yards against the Carolina Panthers, and suffered the injury in the first quarter.
