Crews Contain Fast-Moving Fire East Of Colorado Springs

TRUCKTON, Colo. (CBS4) - Firefighters from several agencies have contained a fast moving wildfire in eastern El Paso County.

The fire burned in the community of Truckton, about 50 miles east of Colorado Springs.

It's in a rural area across the street from the Antioch Community Church in the 5800 block of Boone Road.

The fire burned an estimated 400 to 500 acres before being brought under control at approximately 12:52 p.m.

Voluntary evacuations that were called for by El Paso County officials included residences on Shear Road, Edison Road, Yoder Road and Fossinger Road.
