'Put People Over Pigs' Protest At Chipotle Meeting

DENVER (CBS4)- Chipotle supply chain workers protested in downtown Denver on Wednesday morning to draw attention to poor work conditions.

Protesters carried signs reading "Chipotle: Put People Over Pigs," "We demand respect for all Huhtamaki workers," and "Chipotle: Workers conditions matter too" outside the annual shareholder's meeting in downtown Denver.

They demanded the fast-casual food chain break their silence against what they call employee abuse in Chipotle's largest distributors.

Workers claim Huhtamaki needs to be accountable for poor labor conditions, low pay and intimidation.
