Police Believe 2 Child Enticement Cases Are Related

THORNTON, Colo. (CBS4) - Police have issued a warning about a man trying to entice children in Thornton.

According to police, on Oct. 3 a young girl saw a naked man in a car near 134th Avenue and High Street. She said he motioned for her to come to car.

"The victim stated that a white sedan pulled up next to her as she was walking home from school and motioned for her to come over to the car. The victim stated she observed the suspect sitting in his car naked and performing a lewd act," police said in a statement.

The suspect is described as being a Hispanic male, 30-40 years old with a chunky build, short black hair, no facial hair. He was wearing a gold chain link neckless.

On Oct. 11 a man drove up to another girl and made lewd comments. That was near High and Franklin streets.

In both cases the man was driving a white four-door sedan. Police believe the cases are related.
