Car Slams Into Home, Bursts Into Flames

LOVELAND, Colo. (CBS4)- A driver is hurt after a car slammed into a home, sparking a fire in Loveland on Wednesday morning.

The car slammed into the home on Hopkins Court in southwest Loveland just after 9 a.m.

During the crash, the vehicle struck a gas meter which ignited the fire. The flames quickly moved into the attic.

Firefighters from Loveland were able to quickly get the fire under control. No one was inside the home at the time.

The driver was rushed to the hospital with injuries.
