Bill Expanding Hit & Run Alert Program Cruises Through Colorado House

DENVER (CBS4) - A bill that would expand a program to help police catch hit-and-run drivers easily passed in the Colorado House on Wednesday.

The "Medina" bill passed with 61 votes and not a single dissent.

The Medina Alert allows police to use the state's highway message boards to alert drivers to the search.
