A Ton Of Panthers Fans In Denver, But It's Not What You Think

DENVER, N.C. (CBS4)- Denver is full of Carolina Panthers fans but it's not the Mile High city, it's Denver, North Carolina. The small town is overflowing with Panthers pride.

A quick comparison, the downtown in Denver, Colo. is considered among the top 10 in the nation, Denver, N.C. is considered among the top five in Lincoln County.

In Colorado, the Rockies are covered in snow, in North Carolina, some rocks covered in snow.

Both towns have a weed man, so to speak, but the difference is that in North Carolina that man is all about lawns.

Panther fever has definitely taken over the small town and there is no comparison between the cities and their football teams.

"They're going to lose," said one Panthers fan about the Broncos.
