1 Suspect Surrendered, 1 Suspect Captured During Standoff
WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Wheat Ridge arrested one man outside a standoff on Wednesday night and captured another found hiding in the basement.
Officers rushed to a home near 38th and Wadsworth on Wednesday after receiving a tip that two men wanted on felony warrants were inside. SWAT teams surrounded the home and a group of people came outside.
Officers arrested Anthony Scott but Benjamin Hoheisel ran back inside and refused to come out.
Hours later officers got a warrant allowing them inside and found Hoheisel hiding in the basement.
