WR Kevin White Says He'll Visit The Bears

(CBS) West Virginia receiver Kevin White will visit the Bears prior to the NFL Draft, he said in an interview on Sirius/XM Radio.

White is considered by most to be the second-best prospect at his position, behind Alabama's Amari Cooper. The 6-foot-3 White has game-changing speed and elite athleticism, and he's projected by most to be a top-10 pick. White will also visit the Jets (No. 6 pick), Giants (No. 9) and Rams (No. 10). He's already visited the Titans, who hold the No. 2 pick.

The Bears hold the No. 7 pick and are in need of a receiver who can stretch the defense, and they also have a starting position open after an offseason trade of Brandon Marshall to the Jets. The receiver position does have good depth in this draft class, though, so Chicago could also find one in the second round.

In his Mock Draft 2.0 on Thursday, CBSChicago.com Bears beat reporter Dan Durkin projected White to go to Chicago at No. 7.

White also confirmed that he'll be in attendance in Chicago for the NFL Draft, which will take place April 30-May 2.
