Weekend warmup ahead in Chicago
CHICAGO (CBS) — A weekend warmup is on the way.
After the beautiful sunshine to end the work-week, clouds will stay minimal tonight with lows dipping in the lower 20s.
This weekend, temperatures will be on a warming trend. Saturday's highs will top out in the middle 40s.
The lower 50s are forecasted for Sunday. For much of the weekend, expect gusty winds from the southwest which is actually helping aid these warmer temperatures.
Temperatures will not stay mild long. As a system moves through Sunday night, a few scattered rain showers will develop and favor our eastern zones.
On the backside of that disturbance, Monday temperatures will fall throughout the day and will be much colder Tuesday.
