Washington Heights Fire Spreads To Second Home

CHICAGO (STMW) -- No injuries were reported in a fire that spread from one home to another early Wednesday in the Washington Heights neighborhood on the South Side.

Firefighters responded to the blaze shortly before 2 a.m. at a 1 1/2-story home in the 9900 block of South Wallace Street, according Fire Media Affairs.

Fire officials said the fire spread to an adjacent home, but no one was injured in the blaze.

The fire was extinguished by 2:32 a.m., fire officials said.
