Two In Custody After Shots Fired On Bishop Ford

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A woman may have been injured in a Far South Side shooting on the Bishop Ford Freeway late Wednesday.

The shooting happened about 11 p.m. in the northbond lanes of I-94, between 111th Street and Stony Island Avenue, according to Illinois State Police Sgt. Alex Diaz. Two vehicles were involved in the incident.

Diaz said police were still trying to narrow down the details of what happened as of 12:40 a.m. Thursday.

A female, whose age wasn't immediately known, was taken to Advocate Trinity Hospital, but it wasn't known if she was shot or injured in another way, Diaz said.

Police were questioning two people early Thursday.
