2 killed, 1 injured in rollover crash on Stevenson Expressway near Darien, Illinois
Two people were killed and one was injured in a rollover crash Saturday morning on the Stevenson Expressway near Darien, Illinois.
Illinois State Police said, around 5:10 a.m., a car crashed and rolled over in the southbound lanes of Interstate 55 near Cass Avenue.
The car ended up in ditch along the expressway.
Two people in the car were pronounced dead. A third person in the car was injured and was taken to the hospital for treatment, but police did not reveal their condition.
The southbound lanes of the expressway were shut down at Cass Avenue until about 10:30 a.m.
