Temperatures climbing in Chicago

It's getting warmer out there

CHICAGO (CBS) — Hotter, more humid weather is returning to the Chicago area after a comfortable start to the week.

Clouds increase overnight, with a few light rain showers possible as a weak storm clips north of our area. Expect another slight chance of rain on Wednesday, with noticeably warmer temperatures well into the 80s.

A Weather Alert is in effect late Thursday as a stronger storm and cold front enter the area, clashing with plentiful heat and humidity in place.
