Teens Critically Injured In Oakland Neighborhood Shooting
(STMW) -- Two teenagers are in critical condition after they were shot Wednesday afternoon in the Oakland neighborhood on the South Side.
The 16-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man were standing outside in the 3900 block of South Lake Park about 3:45 p.m. when a green minivan pulled up and at least two shooters got out, opening fire on them, police said.
The 18-year-old was taken to Stroger Hospital and the 16-year-old to Comer Children's Hospital. Both were listed in critical condition.
