Tanker Truck Flips Over, Spills Alcohol On Archer Avenue In Palos Township

PALOS TOWNSHIP, Ill. (CBS) -- An overturned tanker truck was blocking the Archer Avenue late Tuesday afternoon in the southwest suburbs.

The accident happened around 1:55 p.m. on Archer Avenue near 95th Street in Palos Township, in the area of the Paw Paw Woods Forest Preserve.

The tanker truck and a sport-utility vehicle crashed. The tanker spilled some type of alcohol all over the road.

Two people were hurt. It was not clear how long the road would be shut down.
