SUV Rolls Off Addams Exit Ramp In Rosemont
ROSEMONT, Ill. (STMW) -- A woman drove her SUV off an interstate exit ramp and fell several feet into an empty parking lot early Friday in northwest suburban Rosemont.
About 12:20 a.m., the woman was exiting the westbound Jane Addams Memorial Tollway at Lee Street when she lost control and rolled over off the road, said Illinois State Police Master Sgt. Mark Pilgrim. Her vehicle landed onto an empty parking lot several below.
The woman suffered head trauma and was taken to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, Pilgrim said. Her condition and exact age were not immediately known.
