Retired Chicago Police Officer Missing

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A retired Chicago Police Officer who suffers from Alzheimer's disease is missing from his Morgan Park home on the South Side.

Darryl Deyoung, 73, drove away Wednesday from his home in the 2500 block of West 109th Street in a green 1997 Toyota Camry, license plate number B566916, according to a police statement.

Deyoung is a retired police officer who has Alzheimer's and is a severe diabetic, police said.

He is described as a 5-foot-9, 150-pound white man with gray hair and blue eyes.
