9-year-old boy found safe after going missing in Elmhurst, Illinois
A 9-year-old boy was found safe after going missing Thursday evening while riding his bike on the Illinois Prairie Path trail in Elmhurst, Illinois.
Elmhurst police said the boy had been found safe in Glen Ellyn at 10 p.m. He had last been seen around 7:30 p.m.
Police said the boy had been riding a mid-sized Trex bicycle on the Illinois Prairie Path near Spring Road.
Police did not release any further information about where or how the boy was found.
