Missing 13-year-old boy from Wilmette, Illinois, found safe
A missing 13-year-old boy from Wilmette, Illinois, has been located.
The Wilmette Police Department issued an alert on Tuesday afternoon for the teen who was reported missing after leaving on foot from around his home.
Multiple agencies joined in the search, including Evanston police.
Wilmette police said he was found in Chicago in good condition Tuesday night. No further information was released.
The department on social media thanked the public for its help in the search.
