Chance for rain/snow mix overnight; turning foggy and mild Sunday afternoon

CHICAGO (CBS) — A fast moving system will move across the Chicago area overnight, allowing for the chance of a rain and snow mix after midnight.

Lingering showers will be possible through 10 a.m. Sunday. Snowfall accumulations will be small, with the best chance of light slushy accumulations for areas north of Interstate 88. Some slick travel will be possible in these areas.

Lows Saturday night will be around freezing. After a few leftover showers early Sunday morning, expect cloudy and foggy conditions to continue into at least the early afternoon. Highs will be milder in the upper 40s.

Areas of fog, some dense, will be possible Sunday night into Monday morning. Clouds and fog Monday with highs in the 40s, with temperatures falling Monday night into the mid 20s.
