Officer Hit By Vehicle In South Loop

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A Chicago Police officer was hit by a vehicle in the South Loop Tuesday night.

About 8 p.m., the on-duty officer was hit by a vehicle in the 1200 block of South Wabash Avenue, police said.

The officer was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in good condition, police said.

It was not immediately known if the driver was cited or charged, police said.
