Body Matching Description Of Missing Oak Park Woman Found In Forest Park

UPDATE 5:28 p.m. 12/2/15

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Police in west suburban Oak Park a body found in Forest Park is believed to be that of a woman who went missing over the Thanksgiving weekend.

Alicia Yaus, 48, had last seen Saturday afternoon near Chicago and Harlem Avenues, according to Oak Park police. She was driving a dark blue Volvo XC70 station wagon with Illinois license plate A23 4609.

The divorced mother of three was reported missing the next morning by her family.

Wednesday afternoon, police found a vehicle matching the one Yaus was driving parked in a secluded area behind an industrial building near 15th Street and Circle Avenue and a body matching the description of of Yaus was found inside.

Positive identification has yet to be made.
