Metra Train Stopped Near Prairie Grove For Gas Leak

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A Metra North Central Service line train is stopped in northwest suburban McHenry County because of a gas leak in the area.

Inbound train No. 114, which was scheduled to arrive in Chicago at 12:35 p.m., is stopped near Prairie Grove due to a Nicor gas leak, according to Metra's website. The train is currently about 50 minutes late.

Local police requested the train be stopped, according to Metra. There is no estimate for the delay.
