Metra Train Hits Car In Edgebrook

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A Metra Milwaukee District North line train hit a car Tuesday night in Edgebrook.
The train hit the car at Central Avenue near the junction of Lehigh and Caldwell avenues.

The train was scheduled to arrive at Fox Lake at 10:09 p.m., but was delayed indefinitely due to the accident.
No one was injured.
At approximately the same site just eight days ago, a Metra train from the same line hit a milk truck. Several firefighters responded to that accident, but no one was injured.
