Delays linger on Metra MD-N line after vehicle stuck on tracks
Delays on Metra's Milwaukee District North Line are lingering and impacting service to and from Chicago's northern suburbs on Friday.
Metra said both inbound and outbound MD-N inbound trains were halted near Ingleside due to a vehicle on the tracks earlier Friday morning. Metra said delays were expected to be extensive, and commuters should seek alternate train lines.
A train scheduled to depart Chicago's Union Station just after 12:30 p.m. will be delayed, Metra confirmed.
Metra MD-N line train service has been impacted since the Friday morning commute. Trains were running, some on an express route and others with extensive delays.
