Police SWAT teams, armored vehicles surround home in McHenry, Illinois
Police SWAT teams and armored vehicles spent several hours outside a home in McHenry, Illinois, near the Wisconsin state line on Thursday.
CBS Skywatch was over the scene near Venice Avenue and Court Street as dozens of officers and at least two armored police vehicles swarmed the area.
Police first responded to the scene around noon, and urged people to avoid the area for the next several hours. By around 4:45 p.m., police said the situation had been resolved, but did not immediately provide further information.
Police have said there was no danger to the public, calling the situation an "isolated incident."
