Man Robs Two Loop Banks In 10 Minutes
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man robbed two banks in the Loop about 10 minutes apart Wednesday morning.
The man walked into a Chase Bank branch at 10 S. Dearborn St. at 8:42 a.m., implied he had a weapon and presented the teller with a note demanding cash, according to Chicago Police and the FBI.
Ten minutes later, a man matching the description of the suspect in the first robbery entered the Citibank branch at 11 S. LaSalle St., implied he had a weapon and asked for cash, police said.
The suspect is described a black man in his late 30s to 40s, between 5-foot-8 and 6-foot-2, and wearing a black hooded jacket, according to the FBI.
No one was hurt during the robberies, authorities said, and no one is in custody.
