Police: Man Fatally Shot At Tire Shop In Avalon Park
(CBS) -- Police are investigating a fatal shooting Wednesday afternoon in the Avalon Park neighborhood on the South Side.
A 33-year-old man at a tire shop near 89th and Stony Island was approached by the gunman and shot multiple times and killed at approximately 2:30 p.m., police said.
The offender was wearing a ski mask and fled the scene on foot, police said. He may have fired as many as 14 shots.
No one is on custody.
