Man dies after falling off jet ski in Lake Michigan near Navy Pier
A man is dead after falling off a jet ski in Lake Michigan near Navy Pier Thursday afternoon.
Around 4 p.m., police were called to the lake near the mouth of Grand Avenue after the man fell into the water from his jet ski.
The man was recovered by Chicago Fire Department divers, and was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
Belmont Area detectives are investigating.
