Man Critically Wounded In West Chatham Shooting

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Gunfire near a fast food restaurant and carnival left one man in critical condition Saturday afternoon in West Chatham.
Around 2:40 p.m., police say a 21-year-old was shot in the stomach at 87th and Lafayette. Investigators say an unknown vehicle approached him and then shots followed.
There is no word on what prompted the shooting.
Police say the victim is in critical condition.
