Man, 93, Critically Injured In Ashburn Fire

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A 93-year-old man was injured in a fire in the Ashburn neighborhood on the Southwest Side Tuesday afternoon.

The fire broke out about 4:30 p.m. in the 3300 block of West 83rd Place, according to Fire Media Affairs spokesman Will Knight.

The man was taken to Little Company of Mary Hospital and Health Centers in Evergreen Park in critical condition, Knight said.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
