Man, 54, dies after being stabbed multiple times in West Loop

A man's death from multiple stab wounds over the weekend has been deemed a suicide, Chicago police said on Monday.

Around 1:08 p.m. Saturday, a 54-year-old man was found unresponsive inside a residence in the 700 block of West Jackson Boulevard with stab wounds to his chest. Police said he was pronounced dead on the scene. 

He was identified by the Cook County Medical Examiner's office as Brant R. Dykehouse. Monday afternoon, police said his death had been classified as a suicide.
