Chicago police seek group who abused, killed coyote on Southwest Side

CHICAGO (CBS) — Chicago police are searching for three suspects who witnesses say abused and killed a coyote Saturday afternoon on the Southwest Side.

It happened around 3:44 p.m. in the 10600 block of South Sacramento Avenue.

Witnesses told police that three unknown males were abusing the coyote. The animal was later found dead on private property and removed.

As of Sunday, no arrests were made.

Area 2 detectives are investigating.
