Woman shot at bus stop in Chicago Lawn
A woman was shot at a bus stop in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood overnight.
Just before midnight, police said three armed men got out of a sport-utility vehicle and started shooting into a crowd of people waiting at a bus stop in the 2800 block of West 63rd Street at California Avenue. The men fled in a waiting vehicle.
Chicago police said a 54-year-old woman was shot in the chest. She was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in fair condition.
Wentworth Area detectives are investigating.
