Chicago Bulls College Prep evacuated, threat deemed false

School evacuated after threat called in at Chicago Bulls College Prep

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Chicago Bulls College Prep high school on the Near West Side was evacuated Monday morning as police investigated a threat later determined to be false.

Police said a threat was called in to the school in the 2000 block of West Adams Street shortly after 8 a.m.

The school was evacuated and no injuries have been reported.

Students could be seen walking back into school shortly before 10 a.m., after a police K-9 unit swept the building, and police gave the all-clear.

Police confirmed there was no bonafide threat to the school.
