Man Accused Of Driving Through Maggie Daley Park

CHICAGO (CBS)-- A man is facing several charges after allegedly driving through Chicago's Maggie Daley Park and crashing into a fence.

Chicago police said Wesley Mickens, 33, was parked in a sedan inside the park around 1:30 a.m. Friday.

When officials asked the Lansing man to leave, he hit the gas pedal, damaging the miniature golf course and plowing into the fence.

No one was hurt.

Mickens has been charged with one felony count of criminal damage to government property, one misdemeanor count of driving under the influence and one misdemeanor count of leaving the scene.
