Family Says Missing British Man Found Dead In Metra Yard On Far South Side

(CBS) -- The family of a missing British man say his body was found on top of an old, retired Metra car in a repair yard in the Pullman neighborhood Tuesday afternoon.

Ademola Owolana, 26, was last seen around 4:30 a.m. Saturday outside of Club Low Key, in the 11600 block of South Michigan Avenue. His friends said he was angry because he wanted the keys to a car, but was told he couldn't have them. He sprinted down the street.

Owolana's body was found by Metra workers before 3 p.m. in the Kensington Yard Facility at 123rd and Indiana. He was electrocuted on top of a a decommissioned car. Metra officials say the wires for the cars are still active.

Metra says he was found in an area that is not accessible to the public.

Owolana's family said he had no known mental illness.

The Cook County Medical Examiner has not confirmed the identity of the body.
