Authorities Say Craigslist Rapist Assaulted More Victims

(CBS) – A Woodstock man already in custody on multiple rape allegations faces even more charges.

The total number of alleged victims has risen from to eight after two additional victims came forward, authorities confirm.

Charles Oliver, 45, is accused of sexually assaulting and torturing women he met through Craigslist.

Police fear other victims may be out there and urge them to come forward by contacting detectives at 815-338-2131.

Oliver is being held at the McHenry County jail on $4 million bond.
