17-Year-Old Charged In Two 2020 Carjackings Of Rideshare Drivers

CHICAGO (CBS)-- A 17-year-old was charged in two carjackings that took place in 2020.

Police said the teen was identified as one of the offenders who took a vehicle by force from both a 49-year-old rideshare driver and a 59-year-old rideshare driver.

Both incidents took place in the 11300 block of South Dr. Martin Luther King Drive three days apart in December.

The teen is facing a felony charge of aggravated vehicular hijacking.
