Driver Killed In Crash On I-95 In Westwood During Morning Commute

WESTWOOD (CBS) – Interstate 95 was closed in Westwood Wednesday morning after a driver was killed in a two-car crash.

It happened on the southbound side near Exit 12 during rush hour. One of the drivers, 62-year-old Joseph Boran of Boston, was rushed to a hospital, but did not survive.

The other driver, a 40-year-old man from Nashua, was medically evaluated and released.

Two lanes remained closed for several hours but have since reopened.

Massachusetts State Police are investigating the crash.
